Spring Cleaning - bookmarks
This morning - last time we have to say goodbye at this apartment
Just cleaning up the harddrive and the bookmarks I have on my computer before I leave for Utah. OH YEAH I FINISHED SCHOOL AND I FEEL FREE AND FEEL LIKE THERE IS NO EXCUSE TO PUT OFF WEDDING PLANNING!! I'm so excitedddddddd!!!!
These are a couple things I bookmarked on my computer, not really sure why, but I still like them enough to keep them on my blog for future looking at.
I'm like: "Why do I have all these bookmarks if I have pinterest??" But, I still have them.
I did a presentation on this and I thought it was awesome.
The Tax Man!
ORGANIZE PHOTOS
I like her pins
Guess how many RAW photos I uploaded on my computer this semester because of work?
2,216
And the semester before that (that are still on my computer)?
1,092
yeahhh... my harddrive hates me.
But I deleted them all today!
feels good.
now onto wedding stuff...

When I don't know
I have officially decided something very cool. When I don't know what to blog about I will talk about our daily photo from a couple days ago. brilliant, right?
Family Home Evening is something Kent and I enjoy.
Kent enjoys MY FHE so much that he skips his :)
On Monday we walked into my fhe brother's apartment to the smell of brownies. We played backwards charades and Kent was the lead roll every single time! The game is where you reenact a scene from a movie with all your team mates except one, then the one person guesses what the scene was. Kent was *so cute and played along so well. My favorite was when he was Simba and he held onto the couch and then fell around a group of hyenas.
I find that very attractive.
Kent went and dropped me off today and on his way home he saw our footprints in the snow. While going through his phone to find a recent pic to post he said, "Oh yeah! I took that one and that is how we are going to be for the rest of our life - Walking beside each other."
I think everything is cute (*proof in above paragraph), BUT THAT WAS SO CUTE!!!!

Lame-o
I've noticed I've been a Lame-o blogger lately. Kent would be mad. He doesn't like me saying that I'm lame or stupid or dumb - which is ironic because sometimes they very well apply.
Here is our cart from 2 days ago. Can you tell we were hungry?
Tonight we had dinner, then went out for a cupcake and then to a $3 movie. Again, LAAAAAAME. I don't usually go see movies THAT often, so it was nice. Different story with Kent - his family is big into them. On Weekends when we go down to Utah we hear, "Wanna go see a movie?" or "How about we go see a movie?!" every time. no joke.
Interesting fact about Anna (because this blog post can't get any lame-er!): I chew my pens. ALL the time. (side note: I also call "pens", "pins" - as pointed out by Kentelope). While I was thinking and chewing today, my retainer glue from the retainer inside my mouth came off. This happened exactly one year ago!!! Coincidence?? probably. But I'd like to think otherwise!!
It was supposed to happen...
...because I needed something to blog about.
I am going to try my best to make this week a fun week and remember the funny things that happen so that I can blog about them :)

holding it together
I miss this guy. He is at work alllllll day.
We saw "We Bought a Zoo" last night at the 3 dollar theater and cried together at the end. We never want anything like that (early death) to happen to one of us so we realized that we really need to enjoy all the moments we are blessed to have with each other. It was awesome.
I have several assignments and things to do, but I'm enjoying the stressful times now because I know I won't be in school forever! After my bachelor's I hope I find a nice company to work for wherever Kentelope takes us.
Ice Cream & the gym are helping us hold it all together.
What about you?

CRAZY Monday
I lost my computer last Friday afternoon.
We left for Utah on Friday (fun weekend post coming... just wait!), came back and I couldn't find it for the life of me. That's when I remembered when I bought sandwiches for the trip to Utah from that store behind Kent's shoulder. I put my laptop down to order/take the sandwiches home. No big deal, we will stop by the Lost and Found tomorrow morning it will be there.
Nada.
I gave them my info and then went to the store to ask if they picked up a laptop or saw one on the counter, and they didn't. We went to the custodial office, then they told me to go to the security office. Kent & I went and had to report a "theft" thing for the computer, even though I knew it couldn't be stolen - comon guys, it's BYU-Idaho.
So basically I had private detectives hired for FREE to break this case of the missing/"stolen" computer! (see picture - 2 police officers in the background behind the kid in grey). It was a crazy/eventful day. I had assignments due today and got them done WAY last minute and then I had to hunt my computer down all across campus. I like those weird moments of life where everything works out, and you know it will, you just have to do your very best and all that you can to get it done.
My laptop is safe and sound now, and I am here blogging at 12:57am - when I am fully aware that I stink like a bonfire (FHE @the Sand Dunes) and I'm tired and I have a 7:45am class tomorrow morning. Oh wait, every morning besides good ol' Friday.
After work, I went home to meet Kent to have a snack before Family Home Evening. On my way I saw a man whistling and taking out the garbage - thought nothing of it and kept going along to my home. Kent sneaks up behind me and yells, "BLAAA!" and makes me scream so loud. We laughed about it for like 5 minutes. Turns out the guy taking out the trash asked Kent if he could help, and yep, he sure did. (I was TOTALLY distracted).
After laughing and hugging because we hadn't seen each other for FOUR WHOLE HOURS, I got the mail and noticed a package for me from my wonderful Granny :) She has been so gracious and supportive with my journey to college away from home. Every holiday I have received a "holiday package" of goodies celebrating that holiday. Kent and I opened a valentines day one today! It is so cute and the decorations she sends add so much love and happiness to our apartment. I can't wait to do this to my children/grandchildren. It totally makes my day and reminds me that I have grandparents that think about me and love me!
I was in the Spori lab until 11:10pm tonight finishing my assignment. Kent was such a sweetie and came with me after FHE to do his homework right next to me and I just couldn't help but stare at him just because how wonderful he is to me and others and how much fun we have together!
I love my man.
have an awesome Tuesday! I will post photos from the weekend soon. PS I GOT A DRESS! And Kent and I made a budget! The Wedding is COMING TOGETHER!! It's a miracle and so fun. Can't wait to show you.

The Trip home
My journey home begins tomorrow at 2am on a bus. I have a 5 hour layover, so I will most likely be blogging during that time, telling you about my adventures to the airport.
I made a picture list of what I want to do for Christmas using pinterest, of course. Here is what I am going to be doing in my spare time in Kansas (besides seeing and enjoying time with family):
I want to create one of these for muh-self
I also want to make one of these. I really like this style.
Saw this and I thought of things to do with the Pman
I HAVE THIS JACKET IN BLUE. Maybe if I wear it with my khaki pants and a white shirt?? They are all at home, so I will bring them back! :)
Fun bokeh
YES. for Santa.
Also fun Bokeh, I don't know why I haven't tried this yet!
If you want to follow me on pinterest, here is the link! http://pinterest.com/afreeby/
My family is going to pick me up from the Airport and then we are going to go see Christmas lights on the plaza in KC or somewhere else in KC and maybe even go see the temple!! :) I am so excited to see my family again!!!

Two Reasons
Two Reasons why I uploaded this picture.
1. I am looking at this in real life right now.
2. I am going to miss it.
(ps she found that sign with her brother one night while on break at home and brought it back to school)
Remember the first ward Christmas party we went to?? Well that was Kent's, and so tonight we went to mine!
They did the 12 days of Christmas for our ward - which was fun :)
This is Bishop Rossiter and our apartment. We will miss him (he was just released) Every Sunday after sacrament meeting, he stands up and says "We love you!" It's cute we even made him say it in a video to always remember it:
This is Sister Larsen. I just love the women of this Church and how sweet and kind they are. She is part of Relief Society one. woo!
This is Kent Buys. He is quite the stud with those fingers.
You like the tights? They're chevron and pretty sweet too.
I found this AWESOME site where you turn your BLOG into a BOOK. I am seriously thinking about doing that. here is the site: http://blog2print.sharedbook.com/blogworld/printmyblog/index.html
The only problem is the links and videos do not show up, but other than that it's really something neat.
sweeeeeet!
Have a GREAT weekend! I will miss my man who will be in Utah, but I will hopefully get schoolwork and studying DONE. 8 days.

One last hooo-rah
This is not a final post of any sort, but I just feel like I’m giving school my final effort and my last hoorah for the semester. There are finals and quizzes and projects that require a lot of my time. So does my job. But I haven’t been as stressed as past semesters, which is crazy because Kent is here too! :) Someone once told me Kent is probably equivalent to 20 credits, but those are 20 credits of fun and enjoyable times and memories made together. It has really been a wonderful semester for the two of us and we have grown so much. And I wouldn’t trade those credits for anything!
Last night we tried to surprise each other. I showed up at his interview while he showed up at the end of my class (both at 4:45). We must have taken different routes because we texted each other asking where the other one was and we had switched places. My class got out early so I ran to Zion’s Bank – where he had an interview, and he ran to my photo class (but I got out early). He ran back to Zion’s while I cashed some checks and then we changed something in Kent’s account and traveled over to Jamba Juice in the 1 degree weather. WE GOT THE WHITE GUMMY WITH RASPBERRY! We really enjoyed it because of the taste and also because Kent had a gift card and it was free. While walking back to get ready for Kent’s Christmas ward party, we froze. It was the coldest day of my life. My nose and mouth felt like someone was pinching them. Kent’s ears were falling off from the chills. We had to take 2 breaks on the way home – one at Jimmy Johns, and one in the corner of the stairs to my apartment complex. It was probably the coldest I’d ever been.
We got through it and made it home, changed and went to a Christmas party for Kent’s ward from Church! The food was DELICIOUS there was Turkey, mashed potatoes, rolls, stuffing, corn, cake and (Kent’s personal favorite) Cranberry sauce! Mmmmmmm I could hear my tummy saying “thank you” – due to a major shift from macaroni, ramen, and cereal.
Helping clean up
We were dropped off at my apartment and walked to the Library (still chilly). I did one assignment while kent looked at the free rental DVD’s. We chose this cute Christmas love story with these old people and how they were so different, but fell in love. At the end they started kissing. It was kind of weird and we were like “ehhhhww.” but then we decided we are going to kiss when we are old too. Ha
I am home again in 11 days - I am SO excited to see my family again!! It's going to be tough because I'll miss my man. a lot. But I can't wait to be in my own home again with those wonderful people. LOVE YOU!!
Have a great Tuesday!

Food Baby
Howdy y'all! This is Kent! Thanksgiving day was sooo fun, fattening an relaxing! Anna and I went to my Aunt and Uncles house in Idaho Falls! We has a slumber party Wednesday night. We played catch phrase and Anna guessed what I was describing. Woo Hoo! It was our first one!
On Thanksgiving day we had lots to eat! It was very delicious, especially the salad with grapes in it. We had to ask for the recipe.
Okay about being fat and having food babies.
Taking a little break from the meal on the couch. We were so full, we had to wait a couple hours before we could eat pie!
The puppies, Teddy and Ellie, gave us lots of attention, so we gave some back.
Can it get any cuter??
Ellie loves her tummy rubbed! Anna put her in heaven for a day.
We watched Christmas movies and cuddled with puppies. It doesn't get better than that!

Last night Kent and I went to COSTA VIDA!! We shared the sweet pork salad and fed each other. Then we had tres leches, ahhh we love food.
For the second part of our date, we saw Breaking Dawn - wow was that intense. So much blood and unexpected events. Our favorite part of the whole night was hearing a man that worked there say, "Did someone order pizza?" right when the movie started in the dark. It was hilarious, and we giggled for a long time.
Kent's first time playing scrabble! We play it simple, names are allowed and so are small words like "UV" and "WU" :) ha
I'd say it was a success.
*during this post we fed each other apple pie :) yummmm!
School starts in 2 days!

"Narwhals Jousting for Superiority"
This morning we discussed about the melting Ice cap in the North and how it might be gone by 2070 in my Environmental Stewardship class. We talked about the concerns for the polar bears and whales. How the polar bears drown and how the whales were suffering because of the food they eat not having the ice to live on or something... (I wasn't really paying attention because my mind started wandering). Then we started talking about different kinds of whales. I was fascinated by how grey whales swim from the colder regions in the North then down to the Baja area just to give birth, then travel back.
So naturally I started Googling whales.
Every kind of whale I could think of went in the little search box:
Gray Whale
Blue Whale
Killer Whale
Sperm Whale
Beluga Whale
Then I got to Narwhals.
"Narwhals Jousting for Superiority "
Did you know that the long unicorn horn is a TOOTH that grows out from their upper left jaw?? And only the males have it?? To Joust for the females!? I had no idea! I thought it might be something to help it hunt, or help it scrape the bottom of the floor to find or scare food. but nananana, it's to fight for a woman. Then they mate and gestation is 15 months where the calf is born 5 feet long! and hangs out with the mom for 20 months and then will be full adults at 5-8 years old.
I LOVE LEARNING ABOUT COOL THINGS!!
I challenge you to read about something random that you enjoy learning about. Mammals that live underwater is for me. What is it for you?
*********************************
Thanksgiving is coming and something I felt grateful for this morning was my teeth while eating my jelly-ed bread on the way to class (which I was right on time to). I started coughing and choking on a piece while crossing the street and after that felt grateful for my teeth to help me not choke.
Kent and I are going to a little family dinner for the Buys cousins tonight. For thanksgiving I will be staying in Rexburg to finish homework and hopefully get it all done before the last three weeks of school begin! yayayaaay I will be home in 29 days!
Here are some pictures (they were taken on my laptop)
Staying up late and eating applesauce while I finish homework before my exciting weekend to Bosie.
Another picture of Kent playing Shark game
hehe
Exciting weekend ahead!!
HAPPY FRIDAYyYYYY
