Things I've Learned

1. We are all more alike than we are different.
2. Everyone thinks that they are the weird one
3. The world doesn't generally play fair
4. It's OK to be different
5. Most people really mean well and would never intentionally hurt or offend anyone.
6. Everyone is looking for understanding and friendship
7. You can learn to love anybody
8. First impressions are often misleading. Take another look.
9. Kind words make a huge difference
10. There is always someone else in a more difficult situation
11. If someone is on your mind a lot,  you should call/email/text them.
12. You don't have to hide your ambitions and eccentricities to fit in.
13. You can find happiness anywhere
14. People can change.
15. Sometimes People don't change
16. I wouldn't choose to see my trials in advance. they are so much more palatable without anticipatory anxieties.
17. Life is short!
