it's only been 3 days since we have left each other and I feel like it's a struggle to keep the communication good. There is a time zone difference and our families are busy. only 46 more to go. 

Last night was the first night I was comfortably able to sleep in my own bed! I basically live in a dark dungeon small room with little air that circulates (and there is usually a sweaty seven year old  plus a dog next to me) but with the window cracked, them gone and a fan right in my face I felt awesome all night.

It's hard to think about getting out of bed now and going on a run. The finac is making me feel guilty because he is going on a run. 

I should at least get up.

Tonight for Family Home Evening we tilled the garden with some lovely's in our ward.

Today we took bridals from the awesome jalene taylor. The next time we see her it will be our wedding day... crazy!

1. me getting my hair done... lemme tell you dollar cuts ain't cheap. 2. Walking through the provo library trying to find a bathroom to change. 3. Getting picture taken in provo library before I had to give my dress to the cleaners. We walked in some mud, I accidently touched my dress to my red lips, and it was dirty when I bought it.

My ticket home is in hand and I leave for the airport at 8:20 tomorrow morning. 2 months without kentelope! We'll make it and the next time I see him is the week of our sealing, so it's all good.

We are young

Tonight K and I went to a stake dance. Yes, for 12-18 year olds. It's weird to think that 2 years ago I was eligible to attend one. phaha

K's younger sister Hollie, his foreign exchange student kyky, his dad and I all went together and had a blast dancing! It was weird to be holding hands & giving little kisses because we were the only ones doing it, everyone else was so young. Feels so good to be out of that stage of life and onto greener pastures!

During the day I took Danielle Buys' bridal pictures! It was a whole family ordeal and we ran around provo taking pictures, trying to run from the rain and get some good shots. At the end the sun finally came out and I was able to shoot this beauty:

Our One Year of Dating Celebration

Began at 7:07am

I ran to kent's apartment to decorate with a sign and little notes. 

One in his toofbrush, waffle box in the freezer, and syrup in his cupboard

Then a big one on his door :)

 At night we celebrated with pancakes and m&ms in them. We made 12 baby pancakes for 12 months of dating!

 

We ended the night watching Madagascar 2 (the movie we kissed at the end with and became bf/gf) 

to many more years!

Exactly one year ago (probably to the minute - 11:50pm) I received my first kiss. 

We were on the couch of apartment 112 where we sat, holding hands, watching the end of Madagascar 2. 

Neither of us were paying attention to the movie - we both knew what was coming ;)

He leaned over and asked, "Can I kiss you?"
YOU BETCHA!!
Three small kisses later and I was completely filled with butterflies.

Then we became boyfriend/girlfriend :)

Saving Time?

Daylight Savings time was killing me & k this morning! He woke up at 7:22am and I woke up at 7:35am to get to our class at 7:45. Good thing our teacher spends 15 minutes talking about his weekend at the beginning.

No Idea

I had no idea that ikea sold FABRIC?! I just want to live there every time I go in. And I've only been there once. I enjoyed our time so much I blogged about it: here.


This weekend has been so fun. Playing GOLF (card game - I won) with engaged friends. Babysitting. Flowers from a boy (named kent). Frisbee at Porter Park. THE SUN. Wedding Stress. A haircut. Organizing/cleaning all afternoon because you are in the mood to CLEAN. Finishing Homework. Church! Family History findings for French family members. Finding out I get to go to the temple open house in KC (mom gets tickets soon)! Neilson's Frozen Custard. Making Enchiladas. Eating Enchiladas. Surprising k after church. Eating Waffles with k. Not worrying about work/school. 50 degree weather! Walking home the long way because it's so nice. Making/eating rice krispies. Playing GOLF again with k and winning... again. Having the mail man take my mail to k and getting it delivered that day (with a stamp and everything - it didn't actually GO through the mail). Watching Mega Mind (first time for kent)! Daylight Savings time (blehhh). Talking on the couch about nothing, but realizing we only have 3 months and 4 days left until we become official roommates.

I still have little pieces of hair from shaving k's head in my shirt. Maybe I should shower?

Takes the time to give me a back rub while we play cards or do homework.

Lets me eat the big chunks of reese's out of his concrete.

Helps me out with my math (basic math... i'm really slow at it).

Babysits with me.

Makes me laugh/laughs with me.
Holds my hand.

Understands what is important to me and helps make it happen.

Makes me feel comfortable, but also pushes me to do things that are good.

Licks the spaghetti sauce off my face.
Keeps me safe.

Lets me tickle him because he knows I love it.

Prays for me.

Loves me for who I am.

Tells me "i love you"/and that I am beautiful every day.

When I don't know

I have officially decided something very cool. When I don't know what to blog about I will talk about our daily photo from a couple days ago. brilliant, right?

Family Home Evening is something Kent and I enjoy.

Kent enjoys MY FHE so much that he skips his :) 

On Monday we walked into my fhe brother's apartment to the smell of brownies. We played backwards charades and Kent was the lead roll every single time! The game is where you reenact a scene from a movie with all your team mates except one, then the one person guesses what the scene was. Kent was *so cute and played along so well.  My favorite was when he was Simba and he held onto the couch and then fell around a group of hyenas. 

I find that very attractive.

Kent went and dropped me off today and on his way home he saw our footprints in the snow. While going through his phone to find a recent pic to post he said, "Oh yeah! I took that one and that is how we are going to be for the rest of our life - Walking beside each other."

I think everything is cute (*proof in above paragraph), BUT THAT WAS SO CUTE!!!!
